Did you got permission from chief to do this? -autobus22

I've been debating it over on the Editor's Hub talkpage for the last few days. While I didn't hear from Chief specifically, the responses I did get were generally positive and Thomasfyfe's stance was that so long as it wasn't obstructive it should be okay. That said if Chief decides it's a no-go I'm quite willing to take it all down again. --Hunter X (talk) 11:55, 18 January 2014 (EST)

~ This can hurt people by rating pages lower and people can get anagary to each other and you. So it is obstructive for people. (autobus22)

The intention is not to simply label pages as 'bad' or 'good', but to provide a list of points by which an editor can see what needs to be done to improve a page, and to allow editors who may not have otherwise spotted the page to easily identify which pages they could contribute to in order to help improve them. Ultimately it results in a cleaner, more consistent and better-looking wiki. --Hunter X (talk) 12:10, 18 January 2014 (EST)

~ It can still hurt people in this case. Some pages wiht low ratings jsut doesnt hve more to say. For that pages the system doesnt work at all to. (autobs22)

It doesn't take much to get a page to at least Iron rating (namely including the appropriate templates and using links correctly), which is the basic target for a decently formatted article. If an article can't make it past a couple of lines of text then I would imagine that it could likely be appended to a parent article somewhere. That said, if you have an example of an article in which the system clearly doesn't work please let me know and I can adjust things accordingly. --Hunter X (talk) 12:32, 18 January 2014 (EST)

~ okay i will search some pages that have that problem. Actualy i think the page ATTS has wrong rank. I have all diamond futures exept 1 red link thats made becouse iam still making that part of the city where the link is leading to. Also the page ABC functionate as a HUB and is a page where the system maybee not works for.

I've been hesitating over marking pages as Diamond quality (at least in the first runthrough) due to the best-of-the-best nature of the rank, plus in the case of ATTS it could possibly do with a few more images and some work from a second editor (I did spot a couple brief edits in the history but it's mostly been your own work). --Hunter X (talk) 12:47, 18 January 2014 (EST)

~ Yes its my work msotly becouse its my company and others dont have more info about it then me. I cant upload pictures on the wiki becouse iam not trusted+ so that rule wont work. these are 2 rules that can get good pages problems. Also i undertsand that no (or almsot no) pages get diamond rank in first "round" (autobus22)

The only problem is that red links are caused by people not creating the page you are trying to link to. All that could keep a page from diamond quality is having a Bloomington link, and mfish125 would have to create that page in order to make the page diamond quality, or just not link to Bloomington at all, and one red link seems to be a pointless reason to deny a page diamond quality. This is how a wiki should work: when content is missing, the one spotting the missing content should create it. When you find something missing, create a page for it and if the information is not correct or not enough, other users can edit the page again. Minecrafter0505 (talk) 08:55, 27 March 2014 (EDT)
