The plan of EastJets was started when Sam and Cort started designing planes for their own airline, Eastern Airways. Sam offered his 737-800 to some people for their own airlines. He sold an astounding amount of these, and because of this, the two decided to make even more planes. They sold these, and started making more and more money. But, there was no parent company, and things became very unorganized. So, to fix the problem, EastJets was born and is still booming today!
