The Utopia & Whiteley Mainline is a rail trunk under construction from Whiteley to Utopia. The idea came about when many rail companies were planning Whiteley to Utopia routes including Great Central's owners JustFarkie and jamess2912. AP_Red, the mayor of Whiteley, saw that it would be unrealistic to have too many lines all going in the same direction. JustFarkie seemed to want a similar thing a while back when he planned on making a rail trunk around the north and east cities of the MRT. AP_Red asked the two owners of Great Central what they thought of the idea and they agreed. He then began building the line from Whiteley to Iconia as the town did not have any transport connections before the line arrived and it was en-route to Utopia. Great Central had other ideas though, they were going to build their line via jamess2912's town of Mallison. Both came to an agreement that a Mallison branch could be built from Iconia. The line is currently complete up to Iconia.
Routing
The line departs Whiteley's Turing Square terminus and heads into a tunnel under the city centre until it reaches the outskirts. The line runs parallel with the A51 up to Iconia when it enters another tunnel and into the station.
