VI TacoBurritoAThon was the sixth running of TacoBurritoAThon, held on June 17, 2017.
Bidding
On May 13, 2017 bidding closed and there were three candidate cities: Fort Yaxier, Konawa, and Utopia.
All three of those were evaluated over the next two weeks and on May 25, all three were awarded TacoBurritoAThons. Utopia was given VI TacoBurritoAThon.
Players
Players were able to apply to play here. Events are the same as always, American Football, Spleef, Sumo, Swimming, and Marathon.

The prize was $430 and was split among the winners, Team Taco.
Sponsorships
VI TacoBurritoAThon needs sponsors. Your sponsorships pay for both the compensation of the host and (most importantly) the prize money for the players. Levels are the same as before:
- Iron - Costs $10, mentioned as an official sponsor
- Gold - Costs $40, perks of Iron AND get an advertisement read out over the PA system.
- Diamond - Costs $75, perks of Gold AND get naming rights to one of the five events.
Sponsors can apply. Sponsorship is not guaranteed until monetary payment is accepted by the Office of the Commissioner.

Schedule
VI TacoBurritoAThon will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017. It will start at 1700 UTC. This is:
- 10 AM Pacific Daylight Time
- 1 PM Eastern Daylight Time
- 6 PM British Summer Time
- 7 PM Central European Summer Time
- 1 AM Sunday China Standard Time
The order of events shall be:
- Opening Ceremony
- Swimming presented by Icicle Holdings
- Spleef presented by SoCompany
- Marathon presented by Intra
- Sumotori presented by Eastern Airways
- American Football presented by The Brick Tavern
- Closing Ceremony
It will take approximately 60-90 minutes, so block out that much time. All events will be held at the TacoBurritoAThon Discord; you may join it here.
Schedule is tentative and may change at any time.
Information about Forfeits
Forfeits are possible in TacoBurritoAThon. Contingency rules are set up.
- Teams have 30 minutes from when the event starts to supply players (i.e., immediately after the Opening Ceremony).
- After the grace period ends, the following scenarios may occur:
- If one team sent enough players and the other did not, it will count as a forfeit.
- If neither team sent enough players, then the event will get postponed unless either team clinched a championship, in which case it will get cancelled and TacoBurritoAThon will skip to the Closing Ceremony.
- All events must be played by Saturday, April 29 at 1700 UTC. Any events not played by then will be cancelled with the score being frozen.
- If, in this scenario, the score is frozen as a tie, the prize money is split among all players.
- Players must have played in at least one event in order to be eligible for the prize.
