The MRT Valley Line, or simply the Valley Line, is one of the 22 lines of the New World MRT System and one of the 11 initial New World MRT lines built in conjunction with the Gamma server update.

History

The Valley Line was one of the 11 initial lines built in New World. The initial section goes from Central City Northeast Terminal to  V28  in SummerVille.

The Valley Line was first mentioned in the New World MRT plans in August 2014. The route it took according to the plan is Central City Northeast Terminal to southeastern corner via Lakeview and would've terminated at a big terminal with transfers to Island, Southern, Plains, Eastern and Forest Lines.

Before the New World opened, a minor change was made is that the Plains and Valley routings south of Plains/Valley interchange in Scarborough was swapped, with Plains Line going via Lakeview and Valley Line going via Haibian, including their termini as the MRT infrastructure built for Gamma plans located near Pearl Coast and Dulwich has a Eastern-Island-Valley terminal and Southern-Forest-Plains terminal.

In Frumple's Epsilon MRT plans at the May 2017 GSM, the Valley Line was suggested to terminate just south of Pearl Coast, without crossing Equinox Ocean.

In the February 2018 GSM, the Valley Line routing was changed. Instead, it would now go further south, going via Fort Yaxier then paralleling Island Line before taking Frumple's old Island Line routing, connecting with Southern Line at Aeolia.

In the August 2018 GSM, SimonScholar (called godzilltrain at this time) proposed an extension of Island and Valley Lines to connect with Southern Line. Both extensions opened in January 2019 GSM.

In the Zeta MRT plans by Frumple at April 2020, the line would be extended south then it would make a turn to the east in order to serve the southeastern mesa, intersecting with MRT Eastern Line and MRT Jungle Line.

In the Zeta MRT plans by Frumple at November 2022, it would be extended south to meet with MRT Union Line then turn westwards to meet with MRT Zephyr Line in south Zeta. During the planning for Union Line phase 4, where Union Line now took a more southerly alignment between Cape Cambridge and Newark, FredTheTimeLord planned an extension of this line into the south, sponsored by Missa_Solemnis terminating at Guayaba in the south, and was approved in December 2022 GSM, despite SimonScholar pulling Union Line phase 4 from the agenda due to "a lack of time" before being re-proposed, taking a more southerly alignment via Guayaba after the GSM. The extension was opened in January 2023 GSM.

Route

The Valley Line runs from Central City to V62 in Guayaba via Haibian, the southern tundra and the big savannah biome. The current travel duration for the line's entire length is approximately 96 minutes.

Original section

The general style in this section is that tunnels and viaducts are made out of quartz, with pink wool lines down the center and redstone lamps dotted along the way, along with quartz columns. In ground sections, there are also 2 pink wool lines along the sides, also dotted with redstone lamps, and the tunnels are 3 blocks tall.

The line begins at V1 station in Central City Northeast Terminal. After departing from Central City NE Terminal and crossing A0, the concurrency with MRT Plains Line begins, with the tracks of Plains Line and Valley Line crossing together, so between Central City NE Terminal and P6/V6 in Sienos the northern tracks carry inbound Plains/Valley Lines and the southern tracks carry outbound Plains/Valley Lines. In this section, the center lines on the tracks is striped green/pink wool. This is one of the two sections where it happens; the other section is MRT Plains Line and MRT Eastern Line between Lakeview and ES23/P37 station.

In the concurrency, the line goes through forested biomes, then mountains, and the lines briefly go underground at P2 and P5 stations. Towns passed through in this concurrency are Rochshire, Scoton, La Costa and Sienos. The concurrency ends at Sienos, where the lines split, with Plains Line going underground on the way to Covina, Scarborough and points east, and Valley Line turning to the south.

After the concurrency, the line goes across the western edge of Achowalogen Takachsin-Covina International Airport, After crossing a dark oak biome, the line enters a plains biome Nihongo, Lochminehead and Woodsbane are in. The above ground section between V6 and V9 station has stone edges, like the ones found in MRT Taiga Line. After going through V9 station in Lochminehead, the line goes underground, going through the taiga biome before arriving at V12 station in Loudoun, a tranfer station with MRT Forest Line.

The line continues south to Siletz, going above ground to spend briefly on a swamp biome, while stopping at Royalston. At Rockley, the line turns to the east, going underground and passing through the forest biome, with Palestropol and New Beginnings along the way before arriving at Scarborough, where another transfer to Plains Line is available at V19 station.

From Scarborough, the line continues south, going above ground to a height of Y=94, one of the highest segments in MRT system, reached when passing through Stratos. Then, the line goes through a mountains biome where Rockham is located, going underground after V22 station, and then arriving in Haibian, then the plains biome, going above ground then back below ground when arriving at Sydney, before entering a forest biome on the way to SummerVille, at V28. At V27 station, a transfer to MRT Circle Line is available.

Valley Extension 1

The extension is built in SimonScholar's (originally godzilltrain) style, with tunnels and viaducts being made of quartz, with pink wool lines and redstone lamps dotted along the way. The viaducts also have pink wool lines lined with glass railings, and tunnels are 4 blocks tall.

From V28 station, the line crosses Lake 19, arriving at Tribiome Island, where Fort Yaxier is in, going through the forested portion, before arriving at Fort Yaxier Central Station, where the concurrency with MRT Island Line starts. In the concurrency, the lines then go underground, meeting together, then going through Fort Yaxier Sports Park, crossing a canal connecting Elecna Bay (lake) and Lake 19, and then Fort Yaxier International Airport, served by 2 stations: V32 and V33.

The lines then enter the southern tundra region, ascending above ground. Through the region, the lines goes through MeTromso and Southburg, where the concurrency ends, with Valley Line going to Aeolia and Island Line going to Edwardsburg. The line continues east to V41 station, then going underground to cross Equinox Ocean before emerging above ground to a desert biome. Then, the line goes through New Stone City, before going underground, passing through Gryffin, and reaching the shattered savannah biome, where Aeolia is located at, arriving at V47 station, a transfer station with MRT Southern Line and where the extension ends.

Valley Extension 2

The style in this extension is similar to the previous extension, except with tunnels being shaped like an arch, and pillars being made out of quartz with pink wool and redstone lamps on the outside.

The line then continues south across the shattered savannah, before arriving at a normal savannah biome. The line then goes through eastern Meridia, going through Sycamore at V49 station, then going above ground to a desert biome, and then New Prubourne, the next town served at V51. The line continues through the desert and savannah biomes until reaching Newark at V57, where it follows the shore of Lake 50, before arriving at Guayaba at V62 station where the line terminates, and a transfer to MRT Union Line is available.
