Verdepin-upon-Pinesol Coast, (more commonly referred to as Verdepin) is a small town that lies on the island of Pinesol situated in the Hibernal Sea. The island also houses the Town of Copperport, which is owned by MikeRoma.

History

Kel5 founded Verdepin on the 4th of September, 2017. Just three days after his member application was approved by Frumple. Kel started looking for an area that was near to Quiris, as the Mayor _HeavenAngel_ had befriended Kel days before when Kel was a guest. Kel looked far and wide for a place to start his own town. He looked around the general area of the Hibernal Sea, and finally chose the island that the town currently resides on. A few weeks had passed, and Kel had reached Trustee. By that time he'd built about 10 buildings. He decided that it was time to get the town up to Councillor. Kel managed to get Chiefbozx, and hvt2011 to endorse the town, thereby making Verdepin an official Town. After this, Kel claimed  EN28 , and started Merritt Lakes. However, soon after Kel broke his mouse, stalling any development of his two towns. However Kel managed to get a new mouse, and development soon continued. Today Verdepin is a small thriving community, and eventually it will reach the rank of Mayor.

Transportation

Currently Verdepin is mainly served by a series of two lane roads. The main road in the town is known as the B-99/Angelus Boulevard, and is about 570 metres long, and has a speed limit of 70 km/h. And yes, the road is entirely within the town.

Units of measurements

In Verdepin, it is illegal to use any non SI units. However some measurements that aren't SI are allowed. These include: feet, teaspoons, tablespoons, minims, cups, knots, pints, quarts, fluid ounces, and inches. The law is meant to protect Verdepin's Heritage as a town has always used SI.

Street Signs & roads

The lines that divide traffic are yellow in Verdepin, orange dashes indicate a road indicate that there is a potential hazard to the stability of the road in the dashed area, and white is used for pretty much everything else. In Verdepin, most signs, and road markings used come from a few documents Kel has found over the years. He refuses to post these documents on the wiki. If you want to know what they are, then PM him in-game.

VerdeRail (Hybrid-Tram System)

Currently (as of the 12th of February, 2018) a tram system is under construction. There will be two stations: Central Station, and Peninsula Station, and each will have a single platform. The system will have three trains at its disposal, each train will have the capacity to hold up to 16 people, and will run every 7½ minutes. The projected fare for non-residents is $1.10, and for residents it will be $0.75. However you don't have to pay that as there's no way *known* feasible way that can happen. So it's just the cost of the warp.

Ferry Rates

Ferry Service is offered between Verdepin, and Quiris. Service starts at 07:00/7 AM from Verdepin, and runs every two hours. The last ferry to Verdepin is at 20:00/8PM. The last Ferry to leave Verdepin sails at 20:25/8:25PM, and arrives at Quiris at 21:10/9:10pm. Ferries run every three hours on holidays.

Passenger rates are not included in the car prices. So if there was a single passenger in a car, it would be $33.30.
