Winter Games Committee
The Winter Games Committee was founded during the time of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. The sports included in the MRT Winter Games are inspired from those found in the Winter Olympics.
Members
The committee is made up of 5 players. The committee members are: enjineer30302, bspells, nopro988, KittyCat11231 and samyankeesfan20.
Sports
The current sports in the Winter Games include: Figure Skating, Speed Skating, and Ice hockey. Each sport will take place in a different venue.
Sports Under Development
All snow sports and downhill sports taking place in Minehattan are being developed into Minecraft. All Skeleton/Bobsled/Luge type sports are also under development into Minecraft.
WIG I
The first Winter Games will take place in Riverside, Minetown, and Minehattan. It will take place, hopefully in March, but most likely April 2014. An exact date has yet to be determined.
Venues for WIG I
Figure Skating will take place in Minetown.
Speed Skating, Short Track, Luge/Bobsled/Skeleton, and Ice Hockey will all take place in Riverside.
Downhill/snow sports will take place in Minehattan.
