YoshiBoy FastBoi Number

The YoshiBoy FastBoi Number was a numbering system similar to real number/license plates operated by yoshipie_. The system begins with a 3-character alphanumeric region code (if letters are present, then numbers are not required and vice versa), beginning with 042 for 42 and ending with ZKB for Zuckerberg.

Then follows the 4-number year of applying the number in the system. They are two zeroes, followed by the last two digits of the year. If the registration is done between January 1st and June 30th of the year (June 30th included), then add 50 to the year code. As the system has started operation in 2023, the first codes are (if Jan-Jun) 0073 or (if Jul-Dec) 0023. When the system was unofficially discontinued, it was 0073.

And, last is 4 sequential numbers identifying the individual FastBoi, starting with 0001. They reset every time there's a new year code (note that the previous full numbers work unless the FastBoi is lost).

An example of a complete FastBoi number is LAR-0073-0001, indicating that it's a FastBoi from Larkspur registered in the system between January and June of 2023 and is the first one in that period to be registered.

To complete the registration of a FastBoi by the system, the owner needed to get a name tag, rename it with the corresponding FastBoi number, and apply it to their FastBoi as its name.

If a FastBoi is lost and the owner of the lost FastBoi gets a new one, it was recommended for them to re-register in the system.

The system was unofficially discontinued in about May of 2023, and officially discontinued on the 31st of January 2024.
