Zee Village is a cruise line based in New Singapore and a subsidiary of the Azalea Group. Zee Village was founded on October 16, 2021, to provide an alternative casual cruising experience compared to Azalea Cruises and Nansei Cruise Lines.
History
Zee Village was formed on October 16, 2021 by Azalea Group, targeting youths and young adults who prefer casual dress codes and events as opposed to formal nights. Zee Village was the first of its kind on the MRT, hence becoming a revolutionary concept.
Azalea Cruises later took Azalea Orange out of lay-up and scrapping and began refitting her into Zee Village One, the cruise line’s first cruise ship.
On January 1, 2022, Zee Village announced that NCL’s Lake Topaz would be transferred and renamed Zee Village Two in March that year, though this has been postponed indefinitely until NCL can roll out new cruise ships.
Fleet
Zee Village will have a total of one ship acquired from Azalea Cruises, to be used when the cruise line begins operations. A second ship acquired from NCL, is also planned to be used.
