I have created several new templates for you and your articles. They are {{template|town infobox}}, {{template|project infobox}} and {{template|transit}}. Also available are {{template|slc}} and {{template|sname}}, which can create station symbols such as {{slc|G3-Y3}} and {{slc|s}}, and convert a station code to its name.

We came online one year ago today, on July 13, 2012, with 84 MRT stations and 10,485,760,000 blocks of space. No [[Spawn City]], no [[MRT Mail Centre]], no [[PVP]] arenas, just a Minecraft world from 1.2.5. Then, over 400 players came on the server, adding [[Cactusville|one more MRT station]], and submitting over 1,000 member applications to get building permissions. We've had several iterations of mods and admins, and now have a fantastic group of 12 {{mrt|staff}} who run the server.

The bus lines have been issued color codes, which are {{transit|Bus 1}} {{transit|Bus 2}} {{transit|Bus 3}} {{transit|Bus 4}} {{transit|Bus 5}} {{transit|Bus 6}} {{transit|Bus 7}} {{transit|Bus 8}} {{transit|Bus 9}} {{transit|Bus 10}}. Obviously, these colors can't be recreated in-game. You can use <code><nowiki>{{transit|Bus #}}</nowiki></code> to get these icons.

Frumple said in his December 2012 video of the server that when he started the server back in July 2012, he thought that it was going to be a short-lived server that would crash and burn into a gigantic, fiery lava ball. While it almost did (thanks to a derpy WorldEdit by a certain someone who wishes to remain nameless - long-time members know who I'm talking about), it didn't. We — and by we I mean the community — are still standing, talking about trains, buses, roads and Cities in Motion 2 (among other things). And we're still building stuff - even though the map is starting to run low on space, you guys still manage to come up with [[MRT Will Centre|the most random ideas ever]] and yet [[MRT Bank|some of the coolest, functional buildings]] that I've seen on this kind of server (Voxel doesn't count). I would like to personally thank everyone for such an amazing year. This server -- er, network has become a tightly-knit community and yet one where we continually accept new members from around the world. We've shown each other how we build, and what we build. We've built cool redstone that does epic stuff. {{u|Keks63|Two}} {{u|Omricon|players}} designed MRT v4.2 (sometimes called 4.1.1 or 4.1A), which uses hoppers instead of the traditional cart dispenser to store and dispense carts in order to reduce lag. Most of you have said so many [[Funny Quotes|ridiculous things]] that you've deserved a [[shock]] or two. And {{u|thomasfyfe|one of you}} has reinvigorated our — okay, ''my'' — love for bacon.

Wow. What a year it has been.

We came online one year ago today, on July 13, 2012, with 84 MRT stations and 10,485,760,000 blocks of space. No Spawn City, no MRT Mail Centre, no PVP arenas, just a Minecraft world from 1.2.5. Then, over 400 players came on the server, adding one more MRT station, and submitting over 1,000 member applications to get building permissions. We've had several iterations of mods and admins, and now have a fantastic group of 12 staff who run the server.

And we're still building stuff - even though the map is starting to run low on space, you guys still manage to come up with the most random ideas ever and yet some of the coolest, functional buildings that I've seen on this kind of server (Voxel doesn't count). And they look really nice... for the most part.

I would like to personally thank everyone for such an amazing year. This server -- er, network has become a tightly-knit community and yet one where we continually accept new members from around the world. We've shown each other how we build, and what we build. We've built cool redstone that does epic stuff. Two players designed MRT v4.2 (sometimes called 4.1.1 or 4.1A), which uses hoppers instead of the traditional cart dispenser to store and dispense carts in order to reduce lag. Most of you have said so many ridiculous things that you've deserved a shock or two. And one of you has reinvigorated our — okay, my — love for bacon.

It's been a great year, and I can't wait to see what kinds of things we can do to prank everyone to continue to make the MRT network a fun corner of the internet to be on.

Thanks again, everyone!
