Some of you might be a little enraged about the recent admission of MRT Unofficial Lines into the protection log. There are two reasons why that was done:
- Unusually high number of edits in a short time, and
- Most of the information can be found on other pages.
The page will likely be deleted this week, but as a courtesy I am leaving it up so that you can copy the source into company pages or line pages, which is where that information belongs.
I understand the reason that the page was created: to have one single page listing all of the lines available to us. That's great, but the way the page was constructed did not do that effectively (in addition, these lines are not all MRT lines, regardless of whether they are "official" or not: the four original MRT lines are the only "official" lines, the Orange Line is an unofficial MRT line, and everything else is non-MRT).
The best way to link related pages together is through categories. I've written a help page at Help:Categories that explains how they work and how to use them. You can get a list of uncategorized pages here.
In addition, a couple of you may be facing short blocks due to excessive editing of the same pages in a short time. Please use the preview button and edit as much of the page in one go as possible. I hope that blocks don't have to be handed out, but I will if necessary. (A block is a MediaWiki equivalent of a Minecraft ban, while it is in place you can't edit most pages or upload images). In general, a block on the wiki does not result in a warning on the server, unless it's particularly bad.
In other news, the Spawn City Transit Centre is coming along well; interested platform owners should follow these instructions by October 16.
