|For those of you in the US, don't forget to file your taxes today! For everyone else, we hope that the wiki is working nicely for you and that you are enjoying it.
Thanks for all of your help getting the pages moved over from the old wiki! We will take it offline for everyone next week once all of the pages have been moved. Afterwards, feel free to continue creating pages about your town, transit system, attraction, or what have you. A few reminders for everyone:
- Use your userpage for a page about yourself. Don't edit it excessively - userpages are not personal websites.
- Try to combine edits. So, instead of having ten edits in a row on the same article, combine your changes into one edit.
- Finally, please use categories to link pages together. While the hub is a perfectly fine starting point, we would like to use categories to group similar articles. Don't be afraid to categorize an article! To categorize, add
[[Category:(name)]] at the end of an article, and it will be listed. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, as I will probably come around and fix it later.
For those of you who were not on the server on Sunday, April 14, we had a general staff meeting discussing new rules, promotions, current issues with the server, and a much-discussed proposal to change the ownership of the roads and rails. All of the new rules (except for those concerning roads and rails) will be put into effect today or tomorrow, while the roads and rails will be discussed at a later time and not put into effect until we can come to an agreement on the rules.
Try to keep the server from crashing and burning this week while my laptop is at the Apple Store (this is why there is no Snapshot). If you need me, you know how to get a hold of me. Happy editing!
