'''AirLinQ''' (аэроссылка) is a Russian airline that was founded in 1923, and started services with an Antonov An-2 between Moscow and St. Petersburg. During WWII, AirLinQ's aircraft were used for the war, then returned back in 1946. During the Cold War, AirLinQ expanded greatly, obtaining slots and gates galore in Europe. Its fleet was mainly Soviet airliners such as Tupelovs and Yakelovs, but when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, the airline began running short on money. Desperate, the airline overhauled its entire fleet, Westernizing it. Today, the fleet is composed of Airbuses and Boeings, with the Russian Sukhoi Superjet in its fleet as well. It flies to many destinations around the world. MRT2FSX is a project started by Airplaneguy9 that aims to convert real world airlines into MRT airlines by changing their textures to that of MRT airlines in Flight Simulator X (2006). It was started on May 2, 2020, and is currently ongoing.

Installation instructions

All downloads to the textures can be found [1].

You will also have to download TrafficTools, AIFPv3, or another traffic installer to actually see the aircraft. Another option is using WoAI, which, while easier, is very outdated (some flightplans come from 2006).

For those using TTools or AIFP

  • Go to the Alpha-India Group website, search the airline to replace, and download the flightplans.
  • Open up flightplans.txt in TTools/AIFP. In the 'Aircraft' column, there should be a list of text in red. Double click on that.
  • Unzip the MRT airline contents into the "Repaints" folder in your main TTools/AIFP folder.
  • Assign each texture to each aircraft. If you are confused which texture goes with which plane, try and take a good guess.
  • When you are done assigning, click Compile and save the fileset.

For those using WoAI

  • Install the package through the WoAI installer.
  • Find the aircraft types in your SimObjects/Aircraft folder, find the texture.[airline] file, and replace them with the corresponding textures from the zip file.

Yeah, not good at explaining stuff, am I :P
