ViaFly is a legacy carrier airline owned by PaintedBlue, being the first subsidiary of Via Transit. We strive to provide you with the best possible service, both inside the plane and out. We currently serve many destinations with both our main airline, our smaller feeder service ViaRapid, and our smaller seaplane operator ViaFly Connector. The airline is part of the SkyNation Alliance.

ViaRapid is a subsidiary of ViaFly which is responsible for operating feeder flights to larger airports the main airline operates out of currently.

ViaFly SeaLink is a subsidiary which will operate flights between towns with seaplane gates.

In-Flight Services & Benefits

Economy

Economy class is the standard class which provides you with the necessities of flying. You will get up to 15° of seat recline, free WiFi for the duration of the flight, universal power outlets, and free in flight entertainment.

Comfort Economy

Comfort Economy provides more luxury over Economy class. It has the benefits of Economy class, but with extra perks such as more legroom, 25° of seat recline, and being able to sit at the front section of the plane (obviously).

In-Flight WiFi

All ViaFly flights are equipped with free in-flight WiFi. The WiFi is available for the duration of the flight.

In-Flight Entertainment

ViaFly planes are equipped with an IFE on every seat. It allows you to do a multitude of activities, such as watching select movies, to playing select interactive games.

In-Flight Magazine (planned)

Currently, ViaFly is in the process of creating an in flight magazine service of select topics that you might want to enjoy in the skies.

Frequent Flyer Rewards Program

Additionally to the in-flight benefits, the Azimuth rewards program also offers some additional benefits for our flyers. They are linked with SkyNation's rewards program.

Azimuth Standard/SkyNation Silver

Azimuth Standard is the first tier of the program.

To Qualify: 50,000 EQMs and/or $6,000 EQDs

• Access to SkyNation Lounges - All SkyNation Silver members receive two passes per year to enter SkyNation lounges. With each pass they are allowed to bring up to two additional guests.
• Priority Boarding - All SkyNation Silver frequent fliers automatically get complimentary priority boarding on all flights, once they start boarding you may use the "Priority" lane which guarantees you that you will enter before everyone else.
• Priority Check-In - All SkyNation Silver frequent fliers save time right from the start with our dedicated Priority check-in line.
• Complimentary Upgrades - On all SkyNation Alliance airlines you may request a first/business class upgrade (if available) for no charge (24 hours before flight), not all flights included.
• SkyNation Silver Status - All SkyNation Silver members will receive a card or sticker to add onto their existing card that allows them to use their benefits by just presenting their card when traveling.
• SkyPoints Earning Bonus - On all SkyNation flights you may receive up to a 1.25x bonus on full-fare tickets.
• Waived Bag Fees - All SkyNation Silver frequent fliers automatically get their baggage fees waived.

Azimuth Plus/SkyNation Gold

Azimuth Plus is the second tier of the program.

To Qualify: 75,000 EQMs and/or $9,000 EQDs

• Access to SkyNation Lounges - All SkyNation Gold members receive six passes per year to enter SkyNation lounges. With each pass they are allowed to bring up to two additional guests.
• Priority Boarding - All SkyNation Gold frequent fliers automatically get complimentary priority boarding on all flights, once they start boarding you may use the "Priority" lane which guarantees you that you will enter before everyone else.
• Priority Check-In - All SkyNation Gold frequent fliers save time right from the start with our dedicated Priority check-in line.
• Complimentary Upgrades - On all SkyNation Alliance airlines you may request a first/business class upgrade (if available) for no charge (72 hours before flight), not all flights included.
• SkyNation Gold Status - All SkyNation Gold members will receive a new SkyNation Gold card which will allow them to receive perks by just showing or swiping their card when travelling.

Azimuth Platinum/SkyNation Platinum

Azimuth Platinum is the third and highest tier of the program.

Accidents & Crashes

• In November 2020, ViaFly VF002 operating an SI-A 300 on a routine flight from Murrville-Arcadia Intl to West Mesa Intl suffered an engine failure. The right engine of the aircraft shut down unexpectedly mid flight. The pilot managed to safely divert the flight to Fort Yaxier International and landed the plane successfully with no casualties reported. The issue is currently being looked into. This follows more than eleven issues of engine shutdowns from many airlines operating SI-A-100s and -300s since the start of 2020.
