Freeways of Juhwa Islands

The freeways of Juhwa Islands consists of all freeways (highways) servicing the Juhwa Islands. Because of laws prohibiting shared road access with foreign territories, all freeways in the Juhwa Islands are within Juhwa and does not exit the country. With the exception of Route 0 (The National Highway), no other freeways have more than 4 lanes and reserve any carpool lanes. All freeways are in addition, toll / toll-gate free.

Freeways

Juhwa Route 0

Juhwa Route 0 (internationally recognized as J-0, dubbed The National Highway is a long stretch of freeway terminating at the Canton of Duseung at the north, and the Canton of Jongnyeong at the south. It is the only freeway in the Juhwa Islands in which accesses all three provinces, and has a major capacity of eight lanes (two of the most inner lanes are reserved for carpool).

Juhwa Route 10 (internationally recognized as J-10), dubbed Dongryoon Freeway is a ring freeway circulating the outer skirts of the Canton of Dongryoon. While the west and the east of the ringroad is tunneled underwater with glass, the north and south passes normally through the ground. This is the first ever freeway to be constructed and go public in the country, with groundbreaking beginning in the beginning of May 2019.
