Transoceanique Air Lines is an airline founded by barleybun. Transoceanique was founded July 23, 2022, and began operations the next day, July 24, 2022.
History
The Transoceanique name was already in use by Tonster__ for his oceanliner service when the offer was extended to barleybun to jointly form an airline. Dubbed Transoceanique Air Lines, the airline would begin service after its acquisition of 5 gates at Deadbush VDA, with service to Larkspur Lilyflower starting soon after the acquisition. Service quickly expanded in the following days, with flights going out to some major airports. When construction of Deadbush International Airport completed, Transoceanique acquired an entire terminal, with DBI being the airline's first hub. On August 25th, 2022, bidding ended for half of ArcticAir's shares, with Transoceanique and aero beating out other bidders. Following the sale, the UDAC would be contracted to build planes for ArcticAir, replacing its aging fleet. Following internal disputes, Tonster__ was forcibly removed from the company.
On 19 December 2023, Transoceanique Air Lines was acquired by the former subsidiary ArcticAir.
On 21 April 2024, the company was returned to barleybun's ownership, becoming an independent entity again.
Fleet
The fleet of Transoceanique consists almost entirely of United Dutch Aviation Company, UDAC, Airliners.
UDAC Dash One
Dimensions | 19x15 |
---|---|
Type | Small |
Capacity | 3 - Economy 3 - Total |
The UDAC Dash One was the first plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first propeller plane to its name. The plane has begun to see service on flights to the old world, where runways limit the usefulness of jet aircraft. The plane is also used for small flights conducted by the CEO or COO of the company to places where jets wouldn't be feasible. This plane shares the same fuselage as the Dash Two, and fuselage shape as the Dash Two Mini, Dash Ten, and Dash Twelve. The plane is operated by Transoceanique's Tender subsidiary.
UDAC Dash Two and Two Mini
Dimensions | 19x15 (Two) 17x15 (Two Mini) |
---|---|
Type | Small |
Capacity | 3 - Economy (Two) 3 - Total (Two) 2 - Economy (Two Mini) 2 - Total (Two Mini) |
The UDAC Dash Two was the second plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first jet plane to be built by the company. The plane sees wide service across Transoceanique's current flight list, due to the versatility of the aircraft. This aircraft is limited, though, by its length. To combat this, the Dash Two Mini was created at the request of the airline to service Larkspur Lilyflower. This plane shares the same fuselage as the Dash One, and fuselage shape as the Dash Two Mini, Dash Ten, and Dash Twelve. The planes are operated by Transoceanique's Tender subsidiary.
UDAC Dash Three
Dimensions | 40x41 |
---|---|
Type | Medium |
Capacity | 4 - Business 14 - Economy 18 - Total |
The UDAC Dash Three was the third plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first medium jet built by the company. Following the retirement of the Dash Nine due to its age, the new Dash Three would be put into service on the old routes. This plane shares the same fuselage shape as the Dash Nine. The plane is operated by Transoceanique proper.
UDAC Dash Four
Dimensions | 65x65 |
---|---|
Type | Large |
Capacity | 4 - First 6 - Business 38 - Economy 48 - Total |
The UDAC Dash Four was the fourth plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first large jet built by the company. Due to a lack of large gates available at most airports, the Dash Four wouldn't see service. This plane shares the same fuselage as the Dash Eight. The plane is operated by Transoceanique proper.
UDAC Dash Five
Dimensions | 37x37 |
---|---|
Type | Medium |
Capacity | 4 - Business 11 - Economy 15 - Total |
The UDAC Dash Five was the fifth plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the second medium jet built by the company. Like the Dash Three, this plane was outperformed by the Dash Nine due to capacity. This plane shares no fuselage with any other plane. The plane is operated by Transoceanique proper.
UDAC Dash Six
Dimensions | 45x29 |
---|---|
Type | Medium |
Capacity | 8 - Business 8 - Total |
The UDAC Dash Six was the sixth plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first supersonic plane built by the company. The Dash Six is designed to serve high demand routes between large cities, and went into service between Chan Bay and Antioch on August 9th. Another quirk is that this plane consists of only business class seats. This plane shares no fuselage with any other plane. The plane is operated by the Transoceanique Express subsidiary.
UDAC Dash Seven
Dimensions | 75x43 |
---|---|
Type | Medium/Large |
Capacity | 6 - First 6 Total |
The UDAC Dash Seven was the seventh plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the second supersonic plane built by the company. Like the Dash Six, this plane would serve high demand routes between large cities. A first for Transoceanique, this plane consists not of regular seats, but full rooms with beds, a lounge, and a fully stocked bar onboard. This plane has a unique fuselage. The plane is operated by the Transoceanique Express subsidiary.
UDAC Dash Eight
Dimensions | 65x65 |
---|---|
Type | Large |
Capacity | 4 - First 6 - Business 38 - Economy 48 - Total |
The UDAC Dash Eight was the eighth plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first trijet built by the company. Like the Dash Four, this plane suffers from a lack of proper gates to accommodate wide usage. This plane shares the same fuselage as the Dash Four. The plane is operated by Transoceanique proper.
UDAC Dash Nine
Dimensions | 53x39 |
---|---|
Type | Medium |
Capacity | 8 - Business 18 - Economy 24 - Total |
The UDAC Dash Nine was the ninth plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the fourth medium jet built by the company. The plane has since been retired by Transoceanique due to its age, and has been replaced by the Dash Three. This plane shares the same fuselage shape as the Dash Three. The plane is operated by Transoceanique proper.
UDAC Dash Ten
Dimensions | 33x25 |
---|---|
Type | Medium-Small |
Capacity | 2 - Business 6 - Economy 8 - Total |
The UDAC Dash Ten was the tenth plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first medium-small jet built by the company. The plane would see service due to its role as a niche plane for smaller gates. This plane shares the same fuselage shape as the Dash One, Dash Two, Dash Two Mini, and Dash Twelve. The plane is operated by Transoceanique's Tender subsidiary.
UDAC Dash Eleven
Dimensions | 71x65 |
---|---|
Type | Large |
Capacity | 3 - First 12 - Business 50 - Economy 65 - Total |
The UDAC Dash Eleven was the eleventh plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first bilevel jet built by the company. For its inaugural large plane service, Transoceanique decided to fly the Dash Eleven out of Deadbush International to Marblelake Heathrow, with the first widebody flight operated by Transoceanique. This plane has a unique fuselage. The plane is operated by Transoceanique proper.
UDAC Dash Twelve
Dimensions | 31x27 |
---|---|
Type | Medium-Small |
Capacity | 2 - Business 5 - Economy 7 - Total |
The UDAC Dash Twelve was the twelfth plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the second medium-small jet built by the company. The plane was built after the gate at Murrville-Arcadia was taken, and as such, hasn't seen service yet. This plane shares the same fuselage shape as the Dash One, Dash Two, Dash Two Mini, and Dash Ten. The plane is operated by Transoceanique's Tender subsidiary.
