Uwudon (stylized as uwudon) is a franchise owned by NextCorp. uwudon focuses on serving fresh udon noodles fast for people on the go, and is known for some locations fitting in very tight urban spaces.
History
Uwudon began as a local street food vendor in the Estify Region, launching with a few locations in Pixl and Espil. In 2020, the franchise was bought out by NextCorp, the regional transport authority of the Government of Pixl (who most notably operates NextTrain). The original rationale behind the purchase was to expand NextCorp's portfolio by having an in-house food franchise that could be built to serve NextTrain stations. Over time, increased market demands lead NextCorp to structure Uwudon as a more independent business unit, leading to the expansion of Uwudon as a MRT-wide franchise.

uwudon'd
In the Espilian gaming circles, ordering uwudon while in an epic gamer moment is called getting uwudon'd. For example, "Look at Sesh over here getting uwudon'd". Other usages include when you lose an epic game fight because you were distracted by your noodles.
Marketing
In July of 2020, NextCorp introduced a new slogan for uwudon: "uwulious uwudon nowodles". This comes as part of a new brand strategy and ad campaign.
