Bristol University
Bristol University is a university located in Bristol. The motto for Bristol University is Prepare For Tomorrow, Today. Though the university has been open since the early part of 2021, the university property received a property remodeling on November 24, 2021, which makes the university seem new once again.
Campus Life
Bristol University offers classes for freshman through senior undergraduate students as well as classes for graduate students. Undergraduate students will ultimately receive a degree in either Sciences or Humanities while graduate students will ultimately only receive a degree in Humanities. All undergraduate students at the university must take all freshman class offerings as a freshman and the sophomore class offering as a sophomore prior to acceptance into junior/senior classes for your degree track. As a freshman student, you will get to take a variety of classes. Classes at Bristol University are held from February to October each year with no classes held in November, December, or January.
Halloween Dance
On October 31 each year, an annual Halloween dance is held in order to celebrate the end of school for the year. The dance is held outdoors, rain or shine.
Dining
Dining is available for both students and faculty of the university. For students, dining is held within Bristol University Student Union. For faculty, dining is held within Bristol University Professor Union. The university property also offers a location of Bristol Brew Coffee Company housed within a building on-campus.
On Campus
The university does have a two-floor library building which houses the library for the university. The library of Bristol University is smaller than the library of Bristol College though. Bristol University has a pond and a tennis court both located on the eastern side of campus. There is no on-campus chapel at Bristol University so therefore no students or faculty of the university have to attend chapel though Bristol Ring Road Bristol Cathedral is located near campus if you wish to attend church near campus. There is no area for holding outdoor class sessions on-campus.
Residence Hall
There is one residence hall located on-campus at Bristol University called Bristol University Residence Hall. The residence hall is housed within a five-floor building. However if you would like to stay near campus but away from campus, there is a Bristol Housing CoOp located near the university along University Road. University Road itself leads into the campus of Bristol University.
Transport
Bristol University is served by train via Bristol Metro. In the past, the university was served by bus. The Dig Bristol offers an access point to the university. As of February 17, 2022, there is a train station on-campus called Bristol Union Train Station. This train station offers train service via Bristol Metro providing an express train service to just north of Downtown Bristol.
