The 2X is a BluRail warp train line that runs from Tranquil Forest Central in the southeast to Rank Resort Central in the northwest. It is accompanied by the 2 for most of its route, with deviations in the Utopia and Laclede areas.
The 2X has one additional planned stop at Boston Waterloo.
History
The 2X was created to provide a faster, limited-stop alternative for passengers traveling on the 2, one of BluRail's longest lines in terms of number of stations. Initially, the 2X provided service to Whiteley, in addition to all other planned stops. On June 29, 2022, hvt2011 announced that the 2X would no longer stop at Whiteley College Park, dropping the number of stations on the line down to 16. This allowed BluRail 2 trains to center on the platform without any doors being inaccessible due to the length of the platform.
On December 1, 2022, Bay Point was removed as a stop due to lack of town development.
