The Andersonese War of Independence is an ongoing conflict between Dubalia and the self-proclaimed Republic of the Anderson Islands. The main cause of the war is for Andersonese independence.
On November 2nd, 2022, demonstrations for Andersonese independence erupted in the Anderson Island's capital of Fakura following its recent annexation into Dubalia as a colony. Then on November 12th, a coup d'état took place in the capital which put General Lusanaw Tordawahi in charge. He then declared the Republic of the Anderson Islands. This prompted the Dubalian Armed Forces to land in Fakura to restore order
As the war progressed ANLA troops occupied the island of Castigo. However Dubalian troops still maintain a foothold in Ashport Island due to them having a strategic military base in the island. The war still continues, as Dubalian troops plan to retake Castigo island.
