Removal
It was later discovered that exit ramps from the ring road made the clearance of Intrarail tracks too low. By March 2022, half of the road was demolished, and the remaining sections repurposed. A memorial of the old B991 can be found next to the Ice Block Memorial, which is a pillar of the former road.
Present day remaints
The northern section was originally reserved for a metro line. However, as all funding is used to buld freeways instead, the section was reused and named F14 Old Town Bypass (Old Inner Ring Road). Meanwhile, the western section is now a part of the F1 New Appleton Freeway / Old Inner Ring Road.
F10 Freeway
There were once plans to rebuild the demolished section of the ring road underground, but was cancelled.
