Ezzo City/Road Standards

Ezzo City Road Standards are standards for Ezzo City's road system, and its road letter is usually E, signifying Express (or in Ezzo City, Ezzo City Highway). The E-road system in Ezzo City is considered by some/most people as complicated and confusing due to its road standards. The road sign color used is blue.

There are TWO types of E-Roads here:

Main: (shaped as EXXX)

This type of road is the main arterial/highway of the city, and for that reason, NO stoplights are allowed except in some cases. The highway should be at LEAST 2 lanes wide, except in exceptions when it is a B-Road

Main E-Roads in the server:

E1 in Ezzo City - Terminus 1: A7 (to A8, A850, Ilirea Ring Road) , Terminus 2: Unknown - AVG number of lanes: 2

E2 also known as B72 - services Ezzo City and Kenthurst - Terminus 1: E1 (to XW13, 12 and the A7), Terminus 2: B79 interchange. After that, it is known as the Expo Eleven Arterial. AVG number of lanes - 2

E3 in Ezzo City, servicing XW13 - Terminus 1: Villaland Interchange, after that it is known as E3/1, Terminus 2: Unknown, either to Vermilion or the end of the XW13 island Avg number of lanes - 2

Interchanges: With all main E-roads, a nonstop interchange (ie. an interchange with no intersection) must be made unless 1 of the 2 E-Roads have an exception to use stoplights. With Secondary E-Roads, a DDI, a ramp intersection is allowed. With Non E-roads, the same applies to the interchanges of Secondary E-Roads.

Secondary: (shaped as EXXX/XX)

These roads link to main E-roads, hence the first part of the secondary road number. The subnumber is a second part of the road number, and is assigned freely given it is up to 2 digits long.

Secondary E-Roads in the server.

E3/1 in Ezzo City, serving Ezzo Beach. Terminus 1: E3, via Letters Tunnel, Terminus 2: Unknown, possibly after Ezzo Beach

Interchanges: With all main E-roads, a DDI or a ramp intersection is allowed. With secondary E-roads a stoplight intersection is allowed, the same goes back to non E-Roads too.

Use the system

If you want to use the system for your city, you are free to contact ezzocraft via Discord, PM, mail or ingame. The following will be done for the city to be recognized as a user of the Ezzo City Road Standards system:

- Introductory identification of your roads, whetever if it was a Main road, a Secondary, or a non E-road. This is done to help see your readiness of using the highway system.

- Introductory planning of your roads and interchanges/intersection. A map might be pssibly made, and the more you follow the planning, the more the ECR system will work for you.

- Planning of B-roads: B-roads benefically help the road system, it connects each possible E-road to another.

- Road analysis: Will this size work as a secondary, main or what? Should this interchange be put here or there? We can do an introductory analysis to see what you can do more. It is a deeper version of your road identification.

Clarifications

- The B-road system design and signs must be used on B-Roads outside city roads to conform with the MRT Road Standards. The server standards come first, this is to protect your city and prevent your warnings. Be noted that A-Roads cannot be recognised as an E-Road at the same time because the A-Roads are first, and signs must be kept as green as possible. If the A-Road builder said the sign should be green, it will be green.

- Some tips ezzocraft gives you are optional, so if it might seem complicated to you, you can skip it so a fuss wont happen.
