Goa Way
Goa Way, originally known as 2nd Street Elevated is an urban freeway in Wurst. Locally, it is designated as the F2.
History
February 2021 - Worsening traffic in 2nd Street
Back then, 2nd Street is the only road towards the only central area of the city. As an increasing number of residents moved in, there were a lot more fast bois on the road. 2nd street was built with a lack of foresight - it only has 2 lanes.
March 2021 - Freeway proposed
The original proposal suggested that an elevated highway above 2nd Street should be built from River Drive to the Inner Ring Road. It should be noted that at the present day, that section of the Inner Ring Road is gone.
August 2021 - Construction started
Some modifications were made from the original plan. Instead of terminating from the Inner Ring Road, the freeway would terminate at Construction Road. In addition, an elevated road similar to this road will be built above Construction Road (terminating at the Outer Ring Road).
April 2022 - Extensive Freeway Plans
Traffic congestion continued to worsen. In addition, fast boi ownership skyrocketed after the A84 highway was built which connected Wurst to the rest of the server by road. To relieve traffic, an extensive freeway network was proposed, and one of the proposed routes included the extension of the 2nd Street Elevated further south.
