Lynwood is a residential neighborhood in the northeast and southeast quadrants of San Francisco, Tierrente.

As an inner city neighborhood, it is bounded to the north by the San Francisco Bay, to the east by George Avenue, to the south by the San Francisco Freeway, and the west by (street name).

The north/south line of the city passes through Lynwood, dividing it into two, as well as McMahon Boulevard running through the neighborhood.

Lynwood was annexed by the town in 1918 and development started in 1926.
