Template:Infobox place/doc

This template will create an Infobox, or Information Box, for a town. All parameters are optional unless otherwise specified. Spaces between sections should remain for wikitext readability. It should be placed at the top of a page, between hatnotes and text, ideally with code like this:

| flagcaption = Flag of [town name].

| owner = Name of owner. Use {{u|username|display name}} to link to userpages if applicable.

| founder = Name of founder. Use {{u|username|display name}} to link to userpages if applicable.
| founded = Date place was founded.

| coords = Coordinates of the place
| world = Which world the place is located on. Use only one capitalized word (New, Old, etc.).
| ward = Specifies which ward(s) the city is located in. Either put in one, two, or three numbers separated by a comma and a space.
| region = Region the place is located in.
| city = City the place is located in.
| postcodes = Post code(s) used by the place.
| geolabel1-5 = Extra labels for the geography section.
| geodata1-5 = Extra data for the extra labels.

| road = Road connections, don't use {{road|}} and instead link the road's wiki page. Separate multiple by <br>.
| air = Air facilities located in the place. Separate multiple by <br>.
| bus = Bus facilities located in the place. Separate multiple by <br>.
| rail = Rail facilities located in the place. Separate multiple by <br>.
| water = Water transit facilities located in the place. Separate multiple by <br>.
| local = Local transit within the place. Separate multiple by <br>.
| transitlabel1-5 = Extra labels for the transit section.
| transitdata1-5 = Extra data for the extra labels.

| buildsection = Fill with 'true' to activate builds section. Otherwise, leave this blank.
| builds = Number of builds in the place.
| landmarks = Landmark(s) in the place. Separate multiple by <br>.
| buildlabel1-5 = Extra labels for the builds section.
| builddata1-5 = Extra data for the extra labels.

| etymology = Fill with 'true' to activate etymology section. Otherwise, leave this blank.
| nicknames = Other names the place is also known as. Separate multiple by commas.
| renamed = Older name the place was known as. Separate multiple by commas.
| demonyms = Name of inhabitants within town (American, Canadian, etc) Separate multiple by commas.
| languages = Language(s) of the place. Separate multiple by <br>.
| etylabel1-5 = Extra labels for the etymology section.
| etydata1-5 = Extra data for the extra labels.

| politics = Fill with 'true' to activate political affiliations section. Otherwise, leave this blank.
| state = State the place may be a part of. Separate multiple by <br>.
| mpo = Name of Metropolitan Planning Organization the place may be in. Separate multiple by <br>.
| party = Political parties the place is affiliated with. Separate multiple by <br>.
| politicslabel1-5 = Extra labels for the political affiliation section.
| politicsdata1-5 = Extra data for the extra labels.

| lore = Fill with 'true' to activate lore section. Otherwise, leave this blank.
| population = population, as provided by the place (please don't change all the time - maybe once a month)
| motto = Motto of the place.
| capital = Capital island/district/etc. if applicable.
| phonecode = Specifies what phone area code of is used by the city.
| lorelabel1-5 = Extra labels for the lore section.
| loredata1-5 = Extra data for the extra labels.

| other1-5 = Optional custom information, the label paired with below.
| data1-5 = The data associated with the "other" of the same number.
| below = Extra space for wide templates or when you do not want a label associated with the info
