The Great Mojanger War is a war that started on mid-August of 2020.
Timeline
Deposition of the Mojanger National Party government
On the night of August 14, 2020, the West Mesa Police Department, along with the Mojanger Armed Forces, stormed the Great Hall of the Crackheads, surrounding the entire campus, and insisting the resignation of Chairman Manuelito Feliciano Mojito. After ten hours of being trapped in the Senate Chamber, Chairman Mojito resigned from office and fled to Hacienda Mojito, where he was then put under compound-arrest along with his senior officials. The government was then handed over to General Pepito Abante. General Pepito then disestablished the Mojanger Community, and in fashion, established the new Tamaraw Republic regime.
Tamaraw Republic
The Tamaraw Republic was established on the 15th of August as a "government of the people, void of the prejudices brought upon to the people by the oppressive Mojanger imperialists.", as stated in his first address to the people of the republic. Within the proceeding months, as the republic suffered from mass starvation brought upon by the collapse of the economy, especially in large urban areas like Metro Deadbush, Chan Bay, and Rizalburg, the government responded to these progressively intensifying uprisings and protests with nothing more than violence. 500,000 of the total 40,000,000 were killed, some of whom where arrested without trial, and a certain few, ultimately, tortured to death. Losing control of the nation as a whole, General Pepito dismissed the parliament, and declared authoritarian rule over the entirety of the country, and thus the conversion of the Tamaraw regime from republic to authoritarian state was put into place.
