The Musique Centers for the Performing Arts is the umbrella organization that manages various performance venues in Musique on behalf of the city's Department of Cultural Affairs.

Construction Notices

  • The building at 450 East Musique Street (formerly known as the Musique Performing Arts Center) is currently being renovated. The building housed the outdated Birch Hall, Oak Auditorium, Spruce Hall, and numerous rehearsal spaces. Its interior was completely gutted and is being replaced by a single venue known as the Musique Civic Auditorium which will be capable of hosting a wide variety of performances, including operas, symphonies, and ballets.

Venues

MCPA operates 5 different venues with another under construction. Each venue varies in size and usage.

Musique Civic Auditorium

The Civic Auditorium is located in the historic building formerly known as the Musique Performing Arts Center at 450 East Musique Street. It replaces three smaller, obsolete auditoriums (Birch, Oak, and Spruce) that dated back to the early days of the city of Musique. The Civic Auditorium will be capable of hosting a wide variety of performances, including operas, symphonies, and ballets.

Musique Amphitheatre

The historic Musique Amphitheatre is located just south of City Hall. It can host smaller events in a more intimate environment.

The PLAZA

The PLAZA is a versatile venue located on the roof of the Civic Auditorium parking facility. It can host banquets and other outdoor events.

Musique Secondary School Auditorium

The Musique Secondary School Auditorium is located on the campus of MSS (0 West Music Street). It can host most standard performing arts events.

Attending a Performance

Most performances at MCPA venues are free. Some more intricate productions will require a fee for admission. Please visit the box office of the venue to purchase a ticket.

Parking for MCPA events is available at each venue. Valet parking is provided (for a fee).

  • For events at the Civic Auditorium, please use the Civic Auditorium parking facility, accessible via Spruce Mountain Street.
  • For events at the Musique Amphitheatre, please use the Civic Auditorium parking facility, accessible via Spruce Mountain Street.
  • For events at the Musique Secondary School, please use the on-site parking options. Overflow parking is available at Glissando Hill Elementary School and at the Civic Auditorium (with complementary shuttle service).

Tickets

You can purchase your tickets at MCPA venues' on-site box offices. Please note that tickets for events held at the Musique Amphitheatre are sold at the Civic Auditorium box office.

Support MCPA

There are many opportunities to support MCPA. We receive grant money from the Musique government to cover public events run by the government and to maintain the building. However, any other productions must be privately funded. See below for the different giving options. Donate by contacting Missa_Solemnis.
