The Pixl Border Services Agency (PBSA) is the government agency responsible for border enforcement, immigration enforcement, and customs services. The agency is responsible for securing and maintaining various points of entry across Pixl, providing border security, customs, and immigration services. As the national security threat to Pixl is currently quite low, the Government of Pixl and PBSA opts to keep a fairly relaxed border security policy. Nevertheless, Pixl still has extensive border security, customs, and immigration infrastructure in place.
Overview
The main responsibility of the agency is to provide border services at various Points of Entry in Pixl. A point of entry is defined as any point where someone can enter Pixlilian territory. This can be a land crossing, such as road or train, airport, or dock. The current policy is that citizens of the Estify Region do not have to report to the PBSA upon arrival in Pixl. All others must report to the PBSA. Certain points of entry, such as an airport or major road or highway have PBSA crossing infrastructure at the border. Other points of entry, such as subway stops with services to Espil, do not have PBSA crossing points at the border. In this case, non-estify citizens must report to the nearest PBSA reporting site within 24 hours.
