Diamond Interchange

A diamond interchange is an interchange used when a B-Road crosses an A-Road. The interchange has 4 ramps, these ramps can be controlled through stop signs or traffic lights.

Diverging Diamond Interchange

Similar to a traditional diamond interchange, except the non-highway lanes cross each other twice, once on each side of the highway. This allows all highway entrances and exits to avoid crossing the opposite direction of travel and saves one signal phase of traffic lights each.

Single-Point Urban Interchange

A modification of the diamond interchange and has its ramps meet at one point. This requires only one set of traffic lights.

Dumbbell Interchange

A dumbbell interchange is similar to the diamond interchange, but uses a pair of roundabouts to join the ramps with the B-Road.

Dogbone Interchange

A dogbone interchange is similar to the dumbbell interchange except the roundabouts do not form a complete circle, instead having a "raindrop" shape.

Four Ramp Partial Cloverleaf Interchange

Used when a B-Road crosses an A-Road, similarly to a diamond interchange, it is controlled by traffic lights or stop signs.

Cloverleaf Interchange

A cloverleaf interchange is a two-level four-way interchange. It allows cars to turn right, left and make U-turns.

Roundabout Interchange

A roundabout interchange can be either two-level or three-level. It can be either four-way or three-way(always two-level). Two-level roundabout interchanges are used when an A-Road is crossing a B-Road. Three-level roundabout interchanges are used when two A-Roads are crossing.

U-Turns Interchange

A U-turns Interchange is a two-level four-way interchange. It allows cars to turn right, left and make U-turns.

Diverging Windmill Interchange

A diverging windmill interchange is a two-level four-way complete interchange. It allows cars to turn right and left.

Trumpet Interchange

A trumpet interchange a two-level three-way interchange. Trumpet interchanges are used where a road terminates at an A-Road.

Half-Clover Interchange

A half-clover interchange is essentially half a cloverleaf interchange, constructed to connect in just three directions instead of four. It is possible to transform a half-clover interchange into a cloverleaf interchange.

Roundabout T

A trumpet interchange a two-level three-way interchange. Trumpet interchanges are used where a B-Road terminates at an A-Road.
