Which type of football?

In the section Delta Stadium#Events, the article uses the term “football”. However, this is a broad term including multiple sports. I would like clarification on which variant of football is played (e.g. there is association football (soccer in certain places and football in the rest), Rugby football (just shortened to rugby), Gaelic football, rules, Canadian football, and also the most likely, gridiron football (called football in the US, and often called American Football in the rest of the world to distinguish it from association football).
