Requests

Now open for requests. Mayors of towns can add themselves to the below lists and a town will be picked from the list now and again. If a town is picked we will contact the mayor to gauge maintained interest and discuss where to place the IKEA. Small IKEAs can also be requested ingame but we do not guarantee we will always accept requests. Large IKEAs can only be requested by towns of the Governor rank or higher, or cities with a roughly equivalent level of development. Bigger cities have a higher chance of success at receiving large IKEAs. Small IKEAs can only be requested by towns of the Senator rank or higher, or cities with a roughly equal level development.

• Large: Greater Aurora Area (Pending construction of the Airport and Governor promotion of another Aurora city)

Improvement review (2022-11-12)

To improve the article, I would recommend the following:

• Break the lead section about the later history into an actual history section and add more details about the history of the franchise
• Add a "products" section about some of the furniture and their styles inside the store
• Add a section about the layout of the store, could be in a list in order following the path - a visual graphic could be useful
• Change the infobox to Template:Infobox franchise and add missing information
• Add a versions section, with subsections of main IKEA and one for the mini IKEA with photo of a mini-IKEA. Describe the size of each franchise with major differences in each (such as the inclusion of the kids play area, parking lot, etc).
