Freight standards issue between cities and states

Assuming if different cities have different gauges for their tracks, (e.g. Ordeen is running on 10*5*3 LWH), and if each cities has developed their own technology to a certain extent where it is not near compatible with any other cities in the region, what ways should such cities adopt? These cities can't simply be complied to it in a day. Metromap svg (talk) 12:33, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

Before I answer that, I’d like to ask how exactly a track gauge can have length and height? Where did the underscore go? D: (talk) 12:53, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
My mistake. the LWH was referring to the standard freight cargo measurements my city adopted. The track gauge my city is using is 5 blocks and uses a very different technology as well. Also, are you adopting ISO 668? Metromap svg (talk) 13:09, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
Ah ok. Firstly, involving your concern about cities using different gauges for tracks, excluding tiny, isolated examples, 3-wide tracks are the narrowest there are in for warptrains and the standard container is designed to be compatible with this so any other gauge possible is compatible with the containers, except of course, regular minecart rail. Secondly, as the wikipage states, freight transit is virtually non-existent on the MRT so there aren’t any examples of well-established cities that are incompatible with this standard size to the point that they’ll have to make large, weeks long changes. At worst they would just have to change certain pavement markings or so. Fourthly, regarding ISO-668, this standard is supposed to serve the same function, if that’s what you mean. I hope this answers your questions. Where did the underscore go? D: (talk) 14:05, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
