Thrive (stylized in all lowercase) is a Councillor town founded and owned by ArizTrad, located in southeastern Zeta. It is north of Castillion and Sunshine Cove. The town is unique for being situated mostly below ground, with only a few structures existing above the surface.

Lore

Conception

Thrive is an underground community first conceived in 2021. The founder, billionaire Daval Corbin, was motivated to create the community by climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic, and later on the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Corbin stated that the world felt as if it was "becoming less safe" and that he wanted to create a place where people "could truly stop worrying about the future".

Corbin began planning the community by himself. He was inspired by modern urban planning concepts such as 15-minute cities. His goal was to provide a fully functional and self-sufficient place to live. The community was designed to withstand global catastrophic events, including direct nuclear strike, asteroid impacts, pandemics, climate change, and natural disasters.

During the planning process, Corbin scouted potential locations, and eventually settled on a spot near Wallace, Idaho due to the relatively low risk of natural disaster, its remoteness, and lax local laws.

Construction

Thrive began construction in May 2026.

Facility

Welcome Center

The Welcome Center is built into the side of Mount Alyska. It serves as the main entrance to the community. It houses a cafeteria, museum, gift shop, and showrooms with consultation services.

Airlock

The Airlock is an intermediate zone immediately below the Welcome Center. Residents must quarantine in the Airlock for two weeks to prevent diseases from entering the community. The Airlock is split into two zones A and B to stagger influx of residents.
