The B180 is a B-class highway connecting A1 and Cardinal Bay, planned to be extended to Erzville.

History

The B180 was first conceived by minebuilder1223, as part of early RoadNorth plans in November 2020, connecting Oparia and Cardinal Bay together. In January 2021, _kyyl took up the project of building this road, along with other roads around the area, such as A1 rerouting, B185 and B190.

_kyyl built the routing of B180 after finishing the A1 and B185 by April 2021, but only the section from A1 up to the mountain biome was terraformed and laid out by the time _kyyl left the staff team and the server in June 2021, with the rest of road floating.

In November 2023, lightshatterz made a plan to extend the B180 to Erzville, one of the major cities in northern Zeta, and the plan called for the existing B180 to be finished before being extended to Erzville, and after getting permissions to take over the project from _kyyl, they submitted a proposal to do so in December 3, 2023 where it was approved about a day later. After about a week of terraforming and unfloating the road, the B180 was finished and opened.

Route

The road begins at a diamond interchange with A1, just west from Oparia Downtown, before going north-west through the forest until approaching the mountain biome, where ZN43 station is located at. Then, after briefly crossing through a roofed forest, it goes north straight through the plains before crossing two roofed forest biomes and Oxeyeburg before arriving at Cardinal Bay. After Cardinal Bay, the road turns before ending at riskinus's unnamed town.
