Cambridge Bay Area

The Cambridge Bay Area, officially known as the Cape Cambridge-Oceanside-Soundview Metropolitan Statistical Area, is a metropolitan area in southern Zeta, centered around Cape Cambridge. The area is usually politically conterminous with the Cambridge Bay Association of Governments, a Metropolitan Planning Organization.

History

The Cambridge Bay Area concept arose when PaintedBlue wanted to create a proper metropolitan area around one of his cities. He decided that Cape Cambridge should be the city where the area should be based at. After a while of little development, construction on CATlink began, and eventually the town of Soundview made by Spegit007 was founded north of Cape Cambridge, sparking the idea of a Cape Cambridge metro area again. On June 21st, 2022, Ellesmere was founded by PaintedBlue.
