Halifax VIA Rail is the metro train system of Halifax (New World). The metro train system has existed since July of 2022. Halifax VIA Rail currently offers seven rail lines. Three terminate at Halifax Terminal Train Station located within the Newfoundland And Labrador portion of Canada Development Park, three terminate at Halifax Cornwall Train Station located within the Ontario portion of Canada Development Park, three terminate at North Halifax Train Station located within the northern part of town, and one terminates at South Halifax Train Station located within the southern part of town. As of August 1, 2022, Halifax VIA Rail has one rail line which travels outside of Halifax southeasterly to Harvey Central Train Station located within Harvey Beach outside of New Mayton City.

The Rail Lines

One rail line runs from Halifax Terminal Train Station to Harvey Central Train Station in the town of Harvey Beach (the only rail line to leave Halifax town limits). One rail line runs from Halifax Terminal Train Station to Halifax Cornwall Train Station. One rail line runs from Halifax Cornwall Train Station to the Manitoba portion of Canada Development Park. One rail line runs from Halifax Cornwall Train Station to South Halifax Train Station. One rail line runs from Halifax Terminal Train Station to North Halifax Train Station. One rail line runs from North Halifax Train Station to North City Complex (a building built within northern/northwestern Halifax). One rail line runs from North Halifax Train Station to North Halifax Park which is as far north as development goes within all of Halifax.
