History
Announcement
On May 1, Lake Jade and sister Lake Diamond was announced as a 'new class of ship':
Yep, we're getting larger ships! It's up to you to find out the name of the next two ships we're building, all part of a new class of 130m long ships. The first people to tell me the correct names of the next two ships get their name on them!
She was announced as sailing out of Beachview, but nothing else was announced. STthecat successfully guessed the name of the ship on May 2.
Construction
Lake Jade was laid down on the MRT Lab server on 2 August 2021, and was built up slowly over the next few days. New additions included four new staircases going up from Deck 3 to Deck 6, a new kids' pool, and a dance-off area, complete with massive screen. The ship was 99% complete on August 8, and is expected to enter service soon.
After delays in her construction, she was announced as sailing out of the Mokupuni Islands on October 15.
Ports of call
Lake Jade will sail out of the Mokupuni Islands.
