Smitecountraie is a satire (unofficially community) city-state founded on the 17th December 2023 by amber10_. It is a country where you can smite, make buildings that look horrible and shitpost as much as you want.

History

Founding

On the 17th December 2023, after knowing that she could make a country, Amber fenced up a little area in what is currently in the Evergreen district of Clover and declared the fenced area a country. Soon, people started going to it to start smiting.

And then people started to /suicide themselves resulting in The Smitecountraie Massacre. A grave was built to commemorate it.

The First Buildings

A few days after founding, a house, which would become a tower and the first and only road called "The Great Smitecountraie Big Big Road" was built

After Amber became a trustee on the 21st of December, she spawned a pig in Smitecountraie and declared it the lord. Realising that pigs immediately disappear after a lightning strikes them due to the pigs becoming Zombified Piglins and the server banning hostile mobs, she built the Royal Pig Hause and kept the pig safely underground. Hence, smites are not allowed in The Pig Hause due to it, the only place in Smitecountraie to restrict smiting.

A train line that goes from Street Start Here to Welcome Sign was built shortly, as well as a HQ for The Shits and Giggles Transportation Company (the company in charge of running the train line) on top of the house and a train depot (totally not a dispenser).

Rapid Expansion

The first external build in Smitecountraie (a.k.a a build that was done by someone not its mayor) was made by PotatoDumMasala. It was the Thameslink.

After inviting her friends to build anything they wanted in Smitecountraie, rapid expansion followed. On the 26th December 2023, Pillck made a hotel and a courtroom and NetworkSoutheast made his home. Amber also joined in by making a town hall made out of glazed terracotta and a museum. To accommodate to the expansions, land expansions were undertaken, forming the new states of Pillickland, Slough and East Slough. The land expasions made the border of Smitecountraie into a rectangle.

However, a new problem would shortly rise. The buildings were getting too tall, so a height limit of y = 100 was enforced, just under the skyscrapers in surrounding Clover.

From December 2023 onwards, there was not much activity in Smitecountraie, until February 2024.

The Part where Smitecountraie Comes Back (and maybe dies again)

On February 5 2024, NobodyBestFriend visited Smitecountraie. Shortly after, he converted the Slough Metro to TrainCarts. He would also recommend that Smitecountraie be ranked to Community. However on the next day, when Amber wanted to register Smitecountraie as a Community town, it was rejected as it looked more like a building than a town.
