Project MRT in OpenTTD is a project made by Amber. It is an OpenTTD scenario of the MRT New World and its cities. To prevent it from having too much towns, only those that are [Mayor] and above are included in it. There are some exceptions as they are (relatively) big and major Community and [Councillor] and below towns, or they are part of towns that are too big. You can see which they are in the list below.
However, it is not 100% accurate to the MRT world. Some cities have to be a bit further apart due to OpenTTD's minimum distance in between cities requirement. Gander is not located on its island due to not being able to place towns too close to the edge of the map. Since Nashville is on an ocean, it is not a town in the game. Cities' roads and its placement of buildings are also not identical as those are randomly generated. A and B roads, MRT tracks and canals are not included, as it is up to you to make them. Also, the terrain unfortunately is all flat.
The project was started on the 17th of January, 2024 and 1.0 was completed on the 29th of January, 2024.
There is a coordinate calculator that converts Minecraft coordinates to OpenTTD coordinates (specifically for this scenario only) available here. (i know i used scratch pls spare me) It was used to find where to place towns on the map.
