Gander is a Mayor town founded and owned by PotatoDumMasala, located at U47 station on the MRT Union Line. Gander is built in a Middle-Eastern-Mediterranean style. Its town hall is located right by the U47 MRT station.
Gander strives to be a city which showcases Middle-Eastern Culture & tradition. It is situated on an island located near to Lake 54, In ward 2. Gander has road infrastructure throughout the town, But is not car-dependent unlike most Middle Eastern towns. Gander promotes taking public transport & walking by utilising good public infrastructure that is pleasing to a person. Gander's Vision for the future is to set a benchmark for other Middle-Eastern styled cities in the MRT.
Inspiration
Gander takes its name from PotatoDumMasala's Arabic class, Where a person mistakenly said "Gander" instead of the word "Gender". This became a viral meme throughout the Arabic students of the School.
Gander has no relation with the Gander in Canada.
The main reason why Gander is made is because there haven't been many towns invoking the "Middle-Eastern" style.
