The Cresta Capitol Building is a governmental building in Encinitas that houses the Congress of Cresta, a country in the northeast section of the New World in the Zeta region. The exterior is based on the Australian Parliament House in Canberra, Australia, with grass going on top of the building and a large flag on top. It was built on an artificial shore over a week and was fully completed on January 18, 2021.
Layout
The building is essentially mirrored, meaning that it has the same layout on the north side of the building as it has on the south.
Plaza
On both sides of the building there is a brick, granite, and terracotta plaza with a large fountain and four small areas with greenery.
Wings
In the wings of the building, there are diagonal offices for lawmakers and a meeting room for members of the political parties. These were the first parts of the building to be completed.
Lobby
The lobbies on both sides of the building have many chandeliers lighting up the area. There are also large floor to ceiling curved windows that provide natural light. Both sides of the building have a coffee shop with a green concrete and spruce plank exterior. They also have information desks with armour stands, and sofas that fill the empty space in the lobby. There are also MBS broadcasting setups on both sides of the building with a camera, cameraman, technician, reporter, and on-air screen.
Chamber
The Congressional Chamber the middle has a stone/stone brick floor with a red carpet aisle in the middle. In the exact centre of the building, there is a table where the Speaker of the Congress, party leaders, and the President of Cresta sits. It also has a lectern for individual members wishing to speak.
