Route Network Design

EcoCart mainly serves the Western Zeta region with planned routes from across the region. EcoCart operates many different types of lines.

Mainline Services

These services run across the Western Zeta connecting major cities along the way. The route numbers are designated with a number followed by two 00.

Mainline Express Services

These services are designed to stop at express stations to make quicker travel across EcoRail's stations and follow the same routes as the mainline services, but with fewer stops. They are designated with the same number as their local route, with the addition of the letter X.

Branch Services

Branch services start from mainline services and makes a spur route to another location, sometimes another mainline service line. They are designated with the number of the line branching off from, followed by two more numbers to indicate the branch route.

Branch Express Services

Some Branch services have express services allowing faster travel within branch lines. They are designated with the 3-digit number of the branch service, followed by an X.

InterRegion Services

InterRegion services are services that operate from major hubs to stations outside the EcoRail region. This is to allow for better connection to the Western Region via TrainCarts. Riders can then transfer to other companies to get to their final destination.

Services

Currently, EcoCart has no operating services. However, it will soon introduce the Western Express, a InterRegion service operating between Central City and Cypress.

Greater Westplein Train Company

The Greater Westplein Train Company (GWTC) is a local network of trains that operate in the Metro Westplein region as well as Cypress, Weston, and Tokyo. It aims to be able to connect the region more through direct connections between all stations. More information can be found in the wikipage here.
