Knoxford was originally founded by eillinas_george in 2014 and was named Kozani. In February of 2017 it was auctioned and given to SilverBubble who did not develop it. On 5/22/17 it was given to BernCow who renamed it Knoxford. It takes heavy inspiration from Cape Cod and The Lakes region of New Hampshire. For a short time following BernCow's real life brain injury its mayor temporarily became mjpwwf. BernCow resumed Mayorship sometime thereafter.

Districts

Knoxford has 4 districts Old Town, University Park, Knoxford Seaport, and New Catskill.

Old Town

Old town is where the Original part of Knoxford at  ZS26  Foobar is located, Along its Main Street are a number of shops, hotels and other attractions, a Zoo is currently under construction.

University Park

University Park (formerly known as Knoxford north end) is a College Town whose economy is based around the nearby Knoxford University, it is located north of Old Town at  ZS25  Foobar and contains a musuem, hotels, residential housing, and some shops and pubs.

Knoxford Seaport

Knoxford Seaport is located at  ZS27  Foobar to the east of Old Town, Upon completion Knoxford Seaport will be a fully functioning marina with both ferry services and a small Seaplane port. In addition it will also have several hotels, shops and resaurants.

New Catskill

New Catskill is located on a small pond to the west of  ZS26  Foobar, It will contain the 7 preserved buildings from BernCow's soon to be former town of the Catskill Islands. In adition to the buildings the district will contain a light rail station and a memorial to the Catskill Islands
