Quartz Helicopters

Quartz Helicopters was started life as an offshoot of Quartz Intraserver Railtransit, the multimodal transit company, and was originally called QuartzHeli. However, as the helicopter movement on the MRT took off with the construction of Eastern Heliport, which holds over 22 gates, and the creation of other, smaller heliports throughout the server, we adapted to meet the increasing demand by creating Quartz Helicopters, a comprehensive helicopter service which co-funded and created Eastern Heliport and currently holds most of the heligates available there.

Our Routes

Departing from Eastern Heliport

Eastern Heliport, the original and most important hub of Quartz Helicopters, is currently the largest operating heliport and the heliport with the most fully operational routes on the server (currently 15). It was also the first heliport on the server to have a fully functional airport-style check-in and baggage claim, along with a host of other amenities, including duty-free shopping. Eastern Heliport is located outside Talihina near the small town of Lowia, to get to the heliport and for more information, please see their WikiPage.

 Q1B  Spawn Connector

This vital link connects Spawn City with Eastern Heliport, the first established and the biggest heliport on the server. The Spawn City local heliport is located directly outside  B15  Y17  Industrial District station. For access to the heliport from Spawn Station or Central Spawn City, take the MRT  B  line to B15, or the MRT  Y  line to Y17. Thanks to cal76 for the WorldEdits involved.

 Q2  Crystal City Connector

 Q3  Cyra Connector

One of the largest towns on the server, the metropolis of Cyra is unique as it is the biggest city on the server to have two equally contributing mayors. Cyra is located in the southeast of the map, and only recently became connected via road and rail with the completion of  I-3 .

Cyra is also the hometown of two major corporations, StenoHoldings and Kiwi Inc, and as you explore the town you will find many of their famous franchises, such as TheSpoon and Kiwi Steaks. The terminus of many rail, road, and bus lines, Cyra is also a great place to connect to the Southeast of the map, and is famous for its comprehensive road network.

Quartz Helicopters serves the town of Cyra with a CityLink helicopter, which provides a direct connection to the biggest and most connected heliport on the server, Eastern Heliport. From there, you can connect to many different areas of the server, such as Spawn City, Crystal City, MineCity, Hamanei and The D.O.D (and 7 other towns and cities currently, with more on the way). You can also connect to  I-1 , and the MRT  R  line, for quick and easy transit access.

Cyra Heliport is located directly adjacent to the Cyra Transit hub, with easy access to  I-3  and  I-103 .

Departing from Bloomington

Bloomington has a small regional heliport with limited longhaul capabilities, built in the very center of the city by QuartzHeli in early August 2014.

Departing from Atlanta

Atlanta has three heliports, Atlanta MLK, a small regional heliport with four regional connections, Atlanta-Hillville-Minetown Peach International, an international multimodal heliport housed in a abandoned rail station, and Atlanta Jekyll Island, a small local heliport which services the otherwise unaccessible nearby islands

Arlington

The first Quartz Helicopters line, this route links Hillville and the northern area of the server with Arlington, which is in close proximity to Spawn City.

UPDATE: Due to land rights issues the Spawn Connector is temporarily closed, pending relocation to the newly constructed Spawn City Transit Centre Heliport. Thank you for your co-operation. In the meantime, you can reach Eastern Heliport by taking  I-1  to Centennial and then the  MRT-13  one exit to our dedicated slip road.
