Social Democratic Party (Mecklenburg)
The Social Democratic Party or SDP is a centrist political party on the MRT server. Headquartered in Mecklenburg and with tarheelscouse as its leader, the party is represented in the League of Cities and exercises considerable influence across server politics.
The SDP was formed in December 2015 as an early political party for League of Cities debates.
Near-left fiscal policy and near-right social policy characterise the SDP's policies; a largely middle ground party, it promotes such issues as devolution of the server, an increase in the minimum wage for MRT citizens, and calls for an increase in the rights of MRT citizens to decide their own future, independent of Central City bureaucracy.

In the December 2015 Storalian election, the SDP came out as the victor with about 50% of the vote.
