Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt is a town nowadays ranked mayor created by Minecraft252 on July 13, 2023.
General Information
The town receives promotion to councillor on July 18, 2023. The town receives promotion to mayor on August 9, 2023. Minecraft252 serves as the mayor for the town while kingsnake serves as deputy mayor for the town from August 2, 2023. The entire town of Vanderbilt is also the campus of Vanderbilt University. The idea of Vanderbilt having its entire town being a university campus is inspired by Auburn. Auburn itself is located a good bit north of Vanderbilt. Trains serve as public transport through a portion of town limits. The Weird Train exists only within the 5th floor of the Vanderbilt University Student Union building serving more as a ride rather than as transport. Vanderbilt is connected to its neighbour town called Bristol Springs via the Minecraft252 Elevator Train as well as by MSA Rail (which continues on to Carolina from Bristol Springs), one road, and by one walking path. Vanderbilt has many buildings and is known as the town full of tall buildings or Towertown if you will. Vanderbilt has a garden along with a fair amount of white tulips found within the town. There is no MRT train service to Vanderbilt or any location near Vanderbilt at least at the present time though that might change someday in either 2023 or 2024. Vanderbilt Visitors Centre was constructed within the town on August 21, 2023, and serves as the information hub of town. Vanderbilt is planning to make its first senator bid in circa September of 2023.
Metropolitan South Association
As of the creation of the Metropolitan South Association mpo on August 12, 2023, Vanderbilt serves as the headquarters town for the mpo. Vanderbilt itself is therefore of course a founding member of the Metropolitan South Association mpo.
Vanderbilt Helipad
As of July 25, 2023, Vanderbilt has a helipad (VHP) with a helicopter service provided by Bobby Helis.
Trivia
Even though Vanderbilt has one road and many walking paths today, the town got promoted to councillor without any walking paths and got promoted to mayor without the road. Some of the first buildings of what became the town of Vanderbilt started construction as far back as July 9, 2023. While Vanderbilt has dozens of tall buildings within town limits, there actually are in fact nowadays a fair number of shorter buildings within the town limits as well. Vanderbilt is served by a submarine public transport service known as Vandy Submarines within various locations of town. There is one cherry blossom tree found within the town limits of Vanderbilt and surprisingly is the only one since the region Vanderbilt is located within has lots of cherry blossom trees. There is almost no bamboo found within Vanderbilt despite Bristol Springs having an incredible amount of bamboo.
