    • "Thriller" by Michael Jackson.
    • "Infected" by Bad Religion.
    • "Last Train Home" by Pat Metheny Group.
    • "Race for the Prize" by The Flaming Lips.
      • Despite "Infected" being a song title reference, FredTheTimeLord has never heard of the song before and just needed a song that had a title related to diseases or something.
  • Footage for the film was shot in Garry's Mod and Minecraft, although the first credit sequence uses renders made in Mine-imator.
  • In the opening music video, Fred's wearing a blue suit instead of his normal attire. This was due to a missing texture for Fred's right hand. This issue is noticeable throughout the film.
  • Despite U.S. Soldier 1 wearing a vest that says "FBI", he is only a United States Army Soldier.
  • There are many pop culture references and stuff throughout the film. Here are a few:
    • The "Once in a (Fred Rail) Lifetime" music video is a direct parody of the music video for "Once in a Lifetime" by Talking Heads and uses some original footage.
    • Doug Walker (AKA the Nostalgia Critic) makes a brief cameo in the "Once in a (Fred Rail) Lifetime" music video.
    • The title sequence uses music from and is a parody of the titles for the 1966 film Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.
    • Frumple jumping on the bed is a reference to that famous children's song about monkeys jumping on beds.
    • The U.S. Soldiers use models from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
    • The ending sequences in each part are parodies of the credits sequences from parts 1 and 3 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
    • Sans' 1st realistic design is based off Undertale Sans, as his Minecraft skin is that of Sans from the RPG Undertale.
    • The truck that Fred and Sans drive away from the US-Mexico border in is a Boxville truck from the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
    • Clark uses the model of Dr. Isaac Kleiner from the Half-Life series.
    • Sans' 2nd realistic design is a literal skeleton, a reference to the Human body.
    • The plane destined for the Old World is a Boeing 747.
    • The Texas rocket launch site is a reference to SpaceX's Boca Chica launch site.
    • "Terror Trains From Fred Rail" is a parody of "Killer Klowns" by the Dickies.
    • Thomas the Tank Engine makes several appearances.
    • The zombies Fred avoids are zombies from Half-Life 2.
    • The scene where Fred is teleported takes place on the Enterprise (NX-01) from Star Trek: Enterprise.
    • Sans directly references the Super Mario universe, also a reference to his username being SansNotLuigi.
    • U.S. Soldier 1 directly references Bill Clinton, and later United States war crimes in two unrelated sentences.
    • Clark makes a reference about the C.I.A, a real life organization that exists in the United States.
    • Clark recalibrating his laser gun is a reference to any Sci-Fi tv show where the protagonists had to alter their weapons to have an effect on an enemy that would be otherwise immune to the weapons (cough cough Borg).
    • Clark's head spin is a reference to any horror movie where the evil possessed person's head spins.
    • Jim Carrey's Mask character makes a brief cameo in the background of a travel montage.
    • Kermit the Frog also makes a brief cameo in the background.
    • Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza series also makes a cameo in the background.
    • Gummibär makes a cameo as well.
    • The Black Mesa Research Facility logo is seen at the location of the final battle.
    • U.S. Soldier 1 offers to purchase coffee, a reference to the popular beverage.
  • "Roundabout" by Yes is the only song to appear in multiple Fred Rail films. It made it's first debut in a Fred Rail film during a scene in Fred Rail 2 where Fred Rail Dave is running around West Bakersville and Fred Brand cars are exploding.
