Greater Westplein Traincart Company (GWTC) is a traincart rail company owned by EcoRail, a subsidiary of EcoTransit, under its EcoCart Division. It was founded in response to the introduction of TrainCarts and was officially founded on Jan 13th, 2024.
EcoCart is a member of the Railway Companies’ Association (RCA).
Route Network Design
The goal of Greater Westplein Traincart Company is to connect the Metro Westplein area along with nearby cities of Tokyo, Cypress, and Weston. The GWTC operates direct point to point connections between stations in the region with every station having ticket stands to be able to get tickets to go to other stations. Many stations will have connections to EcoCart lines where they can transfer to get to other destinations within Western Zeta.
Ticketing
All Greater Westplein Traincart Company passengers must take a ticket at their station before boarding the train. Location of ticket stands varies per station but all tickets will be clearly visible and accessible before departure
