The MRT-66 is a highway on the Old World as an MRT numbered highway under the InterMap Highway System. Originally constructed as  SR-67  by jphgolf4321 between Redlin and Kitania, an extension of the route across Kitania to Chuno and Chack City was planned and coordinated by KittyCat11231, and was constructed by him and jphgolf4321. The road is notable for having a large U-shape, with two north-south sections connected by an east-west section in Kitania.

History

MRT-66  was originally constructed as  SR-67  by jphgolf4321. It extended from the end of  I-6  in Kitania to Redlin via Mikeland and Silverhaven, half the route of the modern  MRT-66 . While originally the road only had a small stretch within Kitania in the West Transit Center along Airport Drive, KittyCat11231, Kitania's mayor, proposed and coordinated an extension of the highway, which would be renamed  MRT-66 . Under the extension, the new highway extended east from its terminus in Kitania along the Kitania Freeway, concurrent with  I-6  across southern Kitania, then splitting off onto the surface street parallel to the Kitania Freeway, and eventually traveling via a long bridge to Chuno and Chack City. The extension of the highway within Kitania used pre-existing roads, while construction between Kitania and Chuno was mostly completed by KittyCat11231, and construction between Chuno and Chack City was mostly completed by jphgolf4321.

Route Description

The highway begins as Dutch Street, a short local road within Redlin. Once  MRT-66  leaves Redlin to the west, the road widens, turning south north of Silverhaven. The highway travels through Silverhaven, intersecting with a road going to  I-204 . It then goes south, leaving Silverhaven, and continues on a south-southeast diagonal stretch past Mikeland until it reaches Kitania, passing into Kitania via bridge and continuing south as Airport Drive. It then turns east at the beginning of the Kitania Freeway, and runs concurrently with  I-6  as a freeway through southern Kitania, passing an interchange with  I-206 . It ends concurrency with  I-6  at Exit 2, when it leaves the Kitania Freeway and continues east along Freeway Lane, which closely parallels the freeway, until it turns north. South of Exit 4 on  I-6 ,  MRT-66  turns east and leaves the city via a bridge which continues northeast to Chuno. In Chuno, the road widens to a four lane road and continues through a short section as Chuno Boulevard, which intersects with the very short spur road  SR-69  to Quartz City. It then goes under the rest of Chuno in a tunnel and once again interchanges with  I-6  before continuing to its northern terminus at Chuno.
