mxlody
mxlody was a guest who attacked the MRT server at July 2021.
Summary
Unrelated to the resignation, at around 2:25 AM UTC in July 17, 2021, the server would get attacked by a guest called mxlody, who exploited vulnerabilities in Paper to set a chunk of air around everyone who were online at this time. This resulted in Cynra shutting down the server and rolling back to the last save. The guest also got around bans issued by Cynra and Missa_Solemnis. This resulted in the server shutting down at around 2:45 AM UTC. sesese9 advised people to go to the Beta server, but this was also affected by mxlody, which also caused the Beta server to shut down too. The server remained offline, with chiefbozx announcing server maintenance plans to upgrade MRT's services to ensure that the attacks won't happen again. The server came back online at around 7:30 PM UTC, but suffered another attack to the server at around 1:50 AM UTC on July 18, with everyone being banned twice. The server was then bought back up again after roughly 30 minutes of being offline with command blocks being disabled. Command blocks remained disabled until late October, as admins tried to track down which command block was responsible for these attacks, including all the command blocks in Central City by chiefbozx.
